I am taking part in RED January to ... Cycle Every Day

I’m taking part in RED January 2024, and have set myself a daily movement challenge during one of the toughest months of the year. 

My fitness efforts combined with your support could back movement and mental health projects around the country, so everyone can enjoy the benefits that movement brings. 

Together, we can go the extra mile for others! 

I first did this in 2019/20- Been a couple of years, but have previous fundraising with SAMH. January is a great month to keep active, and a small fund raising target to help this great mental health charity. Thanks for Donations

Half Way update

Monday 15th Jan
Well thanks for donations, half way through January on this Blue Monday. All going well, 15 days outside done with 607miles and 31,000ft of climbing. Mixing between gravel, and road, and solo and with friends in the Weegie Wheelers. 2 weeks and a bit to go ! 

Week 1

Sunday 7th Jan
Well thats a wrap on week 1. Started on NYD with a GF and a couple cycles with Pam, and solo, then a good loop on Saturday with 5 others. Today we had x17 on but cancelled due to freezing fog, and icy conditions. Went out later solo for a quick loop. There is a good spell of weather coming next week, so will take advantage, just hope not so cold. Cheers all.

Tuesday 2nd Jan
Day 1 and 2 done. I'll do some updates here not every day. On NYD we did a GF x4 of us on a nice day. Day 2 was supporting Pam as she progresses from injury. And it pished doon. LOL.
