What’s your reason to rise this January?

I’ve joined RED January 2025 and I’m going to rise each day during one of the most challenging months of the year.

My fitness efforts combined with your support will help RED’s official charity partner, Mind Over Mountains, reach anyone struggling with their mental health to gain the benefits of movement and connection in nature.

Days 11 to 27

Monday 27th Jan
I got out of the habit of writing about my yoga… that became another challenge in itself to keep up! 
I’ll be honest, I need to fess up to missing two different days… I literally forgot … so to make up for it I showed up for a longer session the next day, and did 2 sessions another day.
I’m really enjoying my daily yoga dose and notice I’m much more in tune with my posture when I’m walking, going up stairs, standing making a cuppa! 
Even just 10 minutes of stopping everything else and focusing on my breathing, body and mind , has been so beneficial to me.

Days 7 to 10

Friday 10th Jan
Finding it hard to find a routine with my daily yoga, but I have managed ti do at least 10 mins every day! I want to make the time for longer sessions now… to get it as a morning routine rather than squeezing in a quick 10 mins before bed!.

Days 4, 5 and 6

Monday 6th Jan
So days 3 and 4 were again 10 -15 mins before bed. I kept forgetting in the day! Hoping now it’s officially back to work week, I’ll be in a better routine. So started this morning with day 1 of Adrienne’s 7 day Prana. Lovely! Am chuffed I’ve stuck to my goal so far … every day yoga 😄 Don’t think anyone reads this! … keeps a log for me anyway

Day 3

Friday 3rd Jan
Another Adriene 10 minute chill out yoga before bed. Keen to do a longer session or 2 over weekend 😄 Thank you Kelly & Chloe for your support … am now over my target!!

Nearly forgot today! Did 12 mins before bed again of a mix of yoga moves I know 😄

I finished my mildly hungover New Year’s Day with a 20 minute ‘bedtime yoga’ by Adrienne.
