Wednesday 31st January
Wednesday 31st Jan And that's a wrap! Red January is done ✅ Finished the month with a lovely stroll and explore around Knightshayes with my littlest (lots of hanging around and persuading him to use his own little legs 🤣) Final run of the month was a decent 7+K evening dash where I smashed my 5K pb to sub 30 minutes 💪🏼🏃🏼♀️Tuesday 30th January
Wednesday 31st Jan A typical day getting my walking school runs in to get my steps in. Just shy of 1000 for the day.Monday 29th January
Monday 29th Jan A housebound day with poorly boys ended with a much needed club run to get my outside movement in and a daily steps total of 11,000+.Sunday 28th January
Monday 29th Jan A family day strolling around Wells, hitting the play park with the littlies and exploring the beautiful Cathedral.Saturday 27th January
Saturday 27th Jan A lovely long 10.5 km run to start the weekend. Hilly, lovely views, birdsong, sunshine, horses and even lambs! A spring in my step after that run.Friday 26th January
Friday 26th Jan Another day running around after kiddos knocked my daily steps up to 11,000. Decided to ditch the usual car pick up and walk the Friday after school run as it was lovely and sunny, plus would guarantee my steps daily target!Thursday 25th January
Thursday 25th Jan A normal work day running around after kiddos along with the school runs before and after school. Forgot to wear my watch today as it's been charging so can only assume I hit my daily target 🤞🏼Wednesday 24th January
Wednesday 24th Jan Spent most of the day dancing with my preschooler - the more we grooved the happier we were!Tuesday 23rd January
Tuesday 23rd Jan A busy admin day today but managed to get my steps in doing the school runs. Modelling getting outside in all weathers to my boys and getting our bodies moving in the fresh air does wonders!Monday 22nd January
Tuesday 23rd Jan A normal Monday running around after kiddos and then a very wet and windy 5.5 km run to end the day with. Didn't want to run but made myself get out, much later than planned and after dinner. Lesson learnt - NEVER run after dinner! I felt queasy for the entire route 🤢 Felt energised and happily sated after the run though. Runs always make me feel good 👍🏼Sunday 21st January
Sunday 21st Jan Ended a chilled family day with some pre-bedtime yoga. Body stretches to unwind and relax to promote healthy sleep and recovery which is just as important as high intensity exercise!Saturday 20th January
Saturday 20th Jan Absolutely buzzing from completing my first official race this evening. Storm the Fort 5K night trail run. Epic hills, crazy winds and an awesome buzz! 💪🏼🏔️🏃🏼♀️ Definitely will be entering more races this year 🌟Friday 19th January
Friday 19th Jan Another normal day running around after kiddos out in the glorious winter sunshine! Made my 10,000+ steps.Thursday 18th Jan

Tuesday 16th Jan Many walks to and from my children's school today racked up my daily steps to more than 10,000!Monday 15th Jan
Monday 15th Jan Chilly but happy 5K club run this evening to knock up my daily steps count to more than 19,000.Sunday 14th Jan
Sunday 14th Jan A beautiful afternoon 5K trek around National Trust Brean Down with the family. Got to the peak at sunset so spectacular views. Had the preschooler on my back so felt like I was on a military expedition but worth it!Saturday 13th Jan
Saturday 13th Jan Who would have thought that I only started my running journey back in September 2023 and completed the couch to 5k program in November? 2 months on and today I ran my first ever 10K distance. I ran along country roads and through woodlands surrounded by greenery and wildlife and I felt happy, healthy and strong in my body and mind 💪🏼Friday 12th Jan
Friday 12th Jan Another day with a poorly preschooler so not as much outside time as I would like but still managed to get the school run walks done (one I stretched out to over 4K) to clear my daily target with more than 11,000 steps!Thursday 11th Jan
Friday 12th Jan Home with a poorly preschooler so relied heavily on my morning and afternoon school runs to get my steps in. Walked a longer route on both to get some extra outside exercise time in (both with a pram so not all steps recorded). Not quite 9,000 steps recorded by bedtime but still on track for smashing 30,000 steps by the end of January.Wednesday 10th Jan
Wednesday 10th Jan 20,000 steps - what a day! School runs, park play and running after escaping preschooler 🫣 and then finished nicely with a 6K Club Run! Definitely beating the January blues today #feelingfine ShareTuesday 9th Jan

Sunday 7th Jan Finishing my first week with a wonderfully sunny stroll around Nine Springs Country Park with the family. Getting outside and moving is the very best thing to do away with any January Blues!Saturday 6th Jan
Saturday 6th Jan A beautifully sunny day, a perfect day to be out and about but my preschooler had other ideas 😆🤦🏼♀️ A reluctant kiddo decided to just lie down in the mud and refuse to move on our family walk.Friday 5th January
Friday 5th Jan Never have I felt so exhausted as I have today ... Dragging my feet all day barely keeping my eyes open. But I still managed to get an evening 5K run in to smash my daily steps target with a total of more than 15,000 steps today.Thursday 4th January
Thursday 4th Jan No specific exercise session today due to time constraints and still resting my knee, but I still managed to smash my 10,000 daily steps target with just running around after kiddos all day in the rain 🌧️Wednesday 3rd January
Wednesday 3rd Jan Walked more than 16,000 steps today - all down to the school runs. Longest walk of the day I had my 16kg preschooler asleep on my back!Tuesday January 2nd
Tuesday 2nd Jan Last day of Christmas 🎄 break before back to term time chaos! Took the boys out for a very windy and very muddy run and climb around the park today. I managed to get some steps in doing laps around the climbing equipment and chasing the boys. Lots of fun!January 1st
Monday 1st Jan I started the day with a slow ramble exploring the woodlands with my family - there was lots of gathering of interesting items, sliding around in the mud and climbing trees! A great way to start the year, outside in my favourite place - the woods 🌳Thank you to my Sponsors
